Discovering a Gem: Move Inclusive Dance

Here at FindMeActivities, we're always on the lookout for truly special places where kids (and adults!) can thrive. Sometimes, the most incredible discoveries happen when you least expect them. That's exactly how we stumbled upon Move Inclusive Dance, a studio that's redefining what it means to dance.

We recently had one of those serendipitous moments. While returning a rental car, a lively party next door at what turned out to be Move Inclusive Dance caught our eye. Intrigued, we popped over and met the owner and manager, who were more than happy to share their passion. They spoke with immense pride about their mission: to create an all-inclusive dance studio where students of all abilities and ages can come together. It was immediately clear this was a fantastic idea!

For us at FindMeActivities, we aim to be a portal where parents can quickly search for activities for their kids (of any abilities) easily, all under one roof. Meeting Move Inclusive Dance felt like a perfect alignment. Here was a studio doing exactly what we champion – providing accessible, high-quality activities for everyone. The decision was clear: we had to bring them on board and highlight their incredible work! Having already been pondering starting a blog to shine a spotlight on local activity studios, this was the perfect opportunity to add another wonderful partner to our directory.

MOVE Inclusive Dance is a nonprofit dance studio dedicated to making the joy of movement accessible to everyone. Their mission is simple yet profound: to provide inclusive dance classes for people of all abilities, firmly believing that everyone deserves the chance to experience dance, regardless of their age or physical capabilities.

Founded in 2019 by lifelong dancer Lauren Morris, MOVE was established to address a significant need in the community. Since its inception, the studio has welcomed over 1,500 dancers through its diverse programming channels.
